CONTEST AND CONTEST RULES

The contest consists of construction and display, at Arlington Orchards, on the day of the Festival of traditional scarecrows in one of two categories: 

1. Traditional Single - One traditional scarecrow presented as a stand alone unit.
2. Traditional Group - More than one but not more than three traditional scarecrows presented in a group.

Contestants may begin construction of entries anytime after 10:00 AM on the morning of the Festival and must be ready for public viewing no later than 2:00 PM. Please feel free to prepare component parts prior to the day of the festival. Judging of entries will begin at 3:00 PM and the winner in each category will be announced.

The following Prizes will be awarded in each of the two categories noted above.

1st Prize  $75.00

2nd Prize $50.00

 3rd Prize  $25.00
